On Miracle Ground XX has been planned for downtown Chicago in early July 2018. In addition to scholarly panels and presentations, the conference will include festive gatherings and outings to special sites in the Windy City. You won’t want to miss this Durrellian good time. So save the first week of July 2018 and look for more details as they become available.
Louisville Conference on Literature and Culture Since 1900. Every year since 2003, the International Lawrence Durrell Society has sponsored invited panels at the Louisville Conference on Literature and Culture Since 1900. Durrellians re-unite for the scholarly sessions and enjoy festive times together. Anyone interested in proposing a paper for the 2018 panel should contact Charles Sligh (charles.sligh@virginia.edu).

Borderlines and Borderlands, an international Lawrence Durrell/D.H. Lawrence conference, was held on June 24 through 26, 2004, at the University of Paris X.
On Miracle Ground XII was held from June 20 through 24, 2002,
at the University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
On Miracle Ground XI was held from July 2 through 7, 2000
at Corfu, Greece.
On Miracle Ground X was held from May 20 through 24, 1998
at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
There was also a conference on January 2 and 3, 1998,
at S. B. College, Kerala in Kochi, Kerala, India.
ACLALS: Literature For Our Times The 14th international Triennial Conference of the Association of Commonwealth Language and Literature was held 17-22 August, 2007, in Vancouver, BC. Three panels included discussion of Durrell’s works with 7 papers.
